My hovercraft is full of eels.

Last night after some web work, I settled down to watch Mythbusters, one of my favorite TV shows. Last night they covered whether someone could survive an elevator jump by dropping, and whether one could build a "levitating machine" (aka hovercraft) from common household items. It was a pretty cool episode - the hovercraft challenge took the form of a contest between the hosts, Adam and Jamie, to see who could build the *better* hovercraft from household items. I personally thought Jamie's was better - he used 5 leafblowers and a surfboard. I've also seen hovercrafts built from scrap on Junkyard Wars, another very cool TLC/Discovery offering. It's amazing to see what people can come up with when put to it. We are an ingenious species.

I've never been in/on a hovercraft, but I bet that could be kinda fun...

I've seen this meme on some friends' blogs, so I figured I'd lay mine out on the line too. So here goes!

1. What time do you get up?
Weekdays, somewhere between 6:30 and 7:00, depending on how many times I smack the snooze button.
2. If you could eat lunch with one person, who would it be?
Living or dead? There are various folks I wouldn't mind meeting for lunch. Dining with the Pope, the President, or the Queen of England could be cool. Or of those who have since shuffled off their mortal coil: Christ, His Mother, Richard III, Tolkien, or C.S. Lewis.
3. Gold/silver?
I'll wear either. Gold is more expensive, but doesn't tarnish. It's a trade-off.
4. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Y'know, I honestly don't remember. This year I've seen The Passion of the Christ, and Shrek 2, but I don't remember which order I saw them in.
5. What is your favorite tv show?
