Yep, it's that time of year again.
This calendar year, we've been in a bit of a drought. Rampant wildfires, brown grass, talk of watering restrictions...
Until the first of June, the official start of hurricane season. The night of 1 June, we got 6 inches of rain! My pool, which had been a foot low, had overflowed and flooded my back porch overnight. It also exceeded our typical June rainfall, and bumped our YTD rainfall up to average.
We got another two inches of rain yesterday, for another exciting round of Rain 'N Drain.
Crazy Florida weather....
