Monday miscellany - 1Aug16

One of these days, it will sink in that I should take a day off work when I return from vacation, instead of trying to jump right back into my routine. We returned from Toronto on Monday afternoon and were back at work Tuesday, and so I was somewhat less productive outside of my job than I had hoped.

What I've been reading... I finished _Great Expectations_, and have started a collection of recently-discovered Bavarian folktales - _The Turnip Princess_ by Franz Xaver von Schönwerth. I've only begun, but the stories seem interesting so far.

What I've been crafting... I've put another hour or two into Ink Circles "Tapestry", but that's about it.

Fumbling toward fitness... Here's where the lack of break from travel bit me the most. I didn't make it to Curves at all, and managed a mere 129 minutes on the treadmill for 6.52 miles. So far I'm already off to a better start this week, and I really need to get myself in gear.

One Little Victory I had a good routine visit to the dentist today.
