Air it out!

A small stitching finish - Victoria Sampler's "Fresh Air"
Fresh Air
(Click for larger picture)

This is on 30-count antique white Murano. Since I finished this back on the 18th, I made good progress on "Crystal Waters", another of the Victoria Sampler 'Elements' series.

What else have I been up to? Oh, a fair bit...besides finishing #40 on my 101List above, I've finished 4 other goals:
  • #26: 'Walk' from Rivendell to Lorien (finished 23 June)
  • #62: Read The Greatest Knight by Elizabeth Chadwick (finished 2 July)
  • #94: Travel to Italy (was there 26 June - 2 July)
  • #96: Attend a papal audience (did on 30 June)

Yes, you read that right - I just got back from a trip to Rome. There will be pictures and a journal, although it'll probably be about a week before I'm ready to post it.

I did find some nice bits of inspiration in some of the basilicas we visited, so I may have some new designs soon as well. Not before the journal though!

Oh...a bit of administrivia. Lately I've been getting a *lot* of spam comments, so I've turned comment moderation on -- word verification didn't seem to help. It's not that I don't want to hear from you - I just don't want the spam! Hopefully I'll be able to keep on top of comments and approve any real ones in a timely manner.

Fresh Air is beautiful, I really love the colors. Congrats on the finish! Hope the comment moderation helps with the spam, I've been lucky so far and have only had a rare spammer.

Spammers used to be rare, but they've been showing up a lot more lately, often leaving messages in Chinese with zillions of links in them. Not sure why the sudden explosion...
